·The Animal Center - From 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, The Animal Center of Newtown will have cats and kittens for adoption. Animals can be brought home the same day only if your application is pre-approved to adopt. To fill out an application, visit their website at theanimalcenter.org/adopt.htm today.
·Book Signing - From 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, Dr. Sharon Eisen of the Complete Cat Clinic will hold a book signing. She will also discuss tips to help your cat maintain a healthy weight and litter box issues.
Saturday, September 18th - Your Healthy Pet's 1 Year Anniversary!
We are happy to announce the 1 Year Anniversary of Your Healthy Pet with special events and savings! In addition to the events listed below, we will serve coffee and donuts starting at 10:00 am. We will also offer hotdogs and soda from 11:00 am on. Many premium products will be on sale, such as Taste of the Wild, World's Best cat litter, Weruva Cat food, and frozen food among many other popular brands. Each customer will be able to enter into raffles which include prize-packs containing dog, cat, or small animal products. Take your pet out for a day of exciting events at Your Healthy Pet!
·Nature's Variety Doggie Barbecue - From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, a representative from Nature's Variety will discuss the advantages to a raw-food diet and will barbecue their raw food for your dog!
·Petzercise - From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Debbie Vallerie will discuss dog walking and custom pet care options. Debbie is an experienced dog walker & pet-sitter from Newtown.
·The Grateful Dog - From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, Mary Ellen Walsh will discuss dog training tips. Mary Ellen trains dogs of all breeds and ages & can work one on one or in a group class.

Saturday, September 25th - Dr. Marty Goldstein Presents Your Healthy Pet
·Smith Ridge Veterinary Center - From 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Dr. Marty Goldstein of Smith Ridge Veterinary Center will kick-off the start of a series of 1 hour lectures held at Your Healthy Pet. This lecture will be based on discussing the best nutrition and overall care for your pet.
Following the lecture, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, Marty Goldstein will be available for a book signing of The Nature of Animal Healing. Books are available for purchase at Your Healthy Pet.
